Vincent was here is enjoying the good company of artists such as Léon Spilliaert, Théo Van Rysselberghe, Roger Raveel, James Ensor and many others, because De Vuyst is preparing a large art auction that will take place on October 23rd. During the viewing days from October 13th until October 20th the gallery will be open every day. The photographs by Borghouts will not be auctioned but will be for sale in a limited and numbered edition.
Vincent was here is a personal visual project on the boundary between photography and painting, and is inspired by the gaze of Vincent van Gogh.

The Royal Museum of Antwerp will reopen in September 2022

From the start of the renovations in 2011, Karin Borghouts has followed the major works of the museum with her camera on behalf of the KMSKA. Not only were the old galleries beautifully renovated, but there was also an extension - invisible from the outside - by a new building in the former patios. The renovation and new building were designed by KAAN Architects. The museum will reopen on September 25th, 2022. Ticket sales open six months before that date.
