Solo exibition Living, Jan 20 - Feb 19, 2006 in De Markten - Vlaams Gemeenschapscentrum, 1000 Brussels (BE) opened by Bert Anciaux, Minister of Culture and Johan De Vos, photographer and writer about photography. Karin Borghouts has photographed the living rooms of families from different ethnic backgrounds living in Brussels. ‘Living’ offers the visitor an exclusive look into the houses’ interior. ‘Living’ is an exhibition and a book. Collection Initia. Large format analogue camera, C-prints pasted on aluminium. The exhibition travelled around.
